The Diocese of North Carolina, South Carolina, and Kentucky was established on June 11-12, 2016, when His Holiness Pope Tawadros II enthroned His Grace Bishop Peter as its first bishop. Ordained on June 12, 2016, by His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Bishop Peter leads a thriving community of faithful across three states. A monk from St. Mary and St. Moses Abbey in Texas, he brings a deep commitment to monasticism, pastoral care, and spiritual formation.
